These movements may be performed on an apparatus, such as the Reformer or Wunda Chair, on a mat, standing, or on a ball. Joseph Pilates developed his techniques in the 1920's and his revolutionary methods are used for rehabilitation and regular workouts today. He believed in moving every joint through its full range of motion on a regular basis could improve stamina and reduce injuries.
Comprehensive Therapy Services, Inc. offers private and tandem Pilates classes. Whether you just want to get in shape or reduce pain and fatigue, your instructor will design a program for you. Your Pilates workout will leave you refreshed and alert with a sense of accomplishment. You will condition your body and reconnect it to your mind.
Pilates Apparatus Training is also available at CTS! Limited to 4 people, Group Pilates Apparatus training gives you the benefit of semi-private training while enjoying the camaraderie that comes with small group instruction. Utilizing the Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair, Arc Barrel and BOSU, you will strengthen your core while improving flexibility, increasing coordination and enhancing balance. These fun and energetic workouts are perfect for the person who wants to liven up their current workout routine or start a safe and effective form of exercise. Clients must schedule a private Pilates session before attending a group class.

A wonderful blend of Pilates fundamental exercises with advanced modifications when appropriate. A class that will keep you moving and push you toward more progress!
Specifically designed with an emphasis on balance, movement coordination and postural alignment. Utilizing Pilates equipment and CoreAlign, this class focuses on the muscles to aide in gait mechanics, flexibility and upper body mobility. Rest breaks taken as needed.
